Snowflakes and Crafting Resolutions

White Christmasses seem to only happen on TV and in films nowadays sadly. I know some people had some snow late on Boxing Day but we just had pouring rain that evening. So onto my card using the groegous Tim Holtz snowflake die and embossing folder I bought at the NEC. I am definitely going to be using this more next year. The paper is First Edition Gilded Winter, sentiment LOTV and the border die is Memory Box.

Challenges
Winter Wonderland Fussy and Fancy
Papertake Pick a fave (To die for)

Now I don't really make New Year's Resolutions but I thought I would make some crafting ones.

1  Use some of my older stamps, buy less new ones.
2  Do more scrapbooking
3  Indulge myself in colouring sessions so that I have some coloured images ready to make cards
4  Keep using up all my old papers. I have been doing well with that this year
5  Keep making Christmas cards all year
6  Batch make some cards especially for selling
7  Make more cards using dies and no image
8  Try more cas cards ( not as easy as they look)
9  Experiment more
10 Do more embossing, dry and heat
11 Use things I haven't used for a long time, like some of my punches
12  Schedule more blog posts ahead once the cards have been made.

So they are mine, care to share yours?

Such a gorgeous card Marianne. The embossed snowflake is stunning and I love the colours.
I loved reading your crafting New Year resolutions. I think I may be trying to keep some similar ones, I especially need to use some of my older stash before buying any more - after I have spent my Christmas money!
Wishing you a Happy and Healthy New Year

You can have our snow Marianne... I hate the stuff! Especially because it's now so tightly packed that it's turned to ice and I have trouble staying on my feet any time I need to go anywhere... I'm fed up of wet feet and of bruises on my posterior! lol.
LOVE your card. Gorgeous neutrals, and I love the border die!
As for crafty resolutions, I'm with you on the Christmas card thing! I didn't have anywhere near enough of them this year, after being ill for almost a month and running out of time. I used to have them all done by September, and I'd like that to be the case again next year! x

Another fab Christmas card make from you Marianne and what a lovely focal piece that die is. Your resolutions sound great to me, all the things I should be doing too, but although I start each year with good intentions I'm afraid they wain a bit as the months go by :( Getting ahead and keeping ahead is my main one for this coming year - I was constantly trying to catch up in 2014.
Hope you both have a fabulous New Year whatever you are up to.

Gosh Marianne, I think mine would be a copy of yours. Strangely, today I was prepping some LOTV toppers from their pads. I actually rumagged in my punches drawer and used a decorative corner punch, on some of the images! I hadn't used them all this year!! Spooky! Have a wonderful evening and a brilliant crafting 2015. Hugs, Carol S.xx
